I drew this for my honors history class, with Mr. Lesler as the teacher. Its drawn on a 18"x 24" medium natural white paper with a 2B graphite and then outlined with a Sharpie.
The topic was to draw/crate a propaganda poster that would be for or against the war. So, I drew this. I got the idea from one of my xanga friend's friend's blog. x_X
I really loved the final peice, I was pretty proud of my self actually. I brought it to school and everyone loved it as well. At the end of my poster presentation, my history teacher collected all of the posters; so, like everyone else, mines was collected as well. After a few days, I went back to my teacher to ask for my poster back because i wanted to frame it and hang it on my wall in my bedroom. However, Mr. Lesler said, "I actually cannot find any of the posters, I believe someone threw all of them out. Sorry." ....I was devastated. I wanted to cry and knock the living day lights out of him. But of course, I can't. T_T UGHH!@$@#$!!! I worked so damn hard on that picture andd i had a major headache from sniffing the Sharpie ... how could a teacher be so irresponsible and allow someone to throw someone else's prized work away. Thats absurd! Although this event happened a few months ago, I'm still pretty upset by it. [sigh] O'Well, life moves on. I'm soooooo glad i took a picture of it before i handed it in. Why did i take a picture? I wanted to show it to my friend via internet so I took the picture. Thankies to my friend! yay-ness! <3
Anyways, enjoy the picture. =] ciao~
P.S.: See if you can can find my name in the picture. Hint-its not on the bottom right hand corner. lol That would have been too easy, nye? =]
